• Account information: such as your Apple ID (used through Sign in with Apple), email address, and username.
• Device data: device type, OS version, app version, language, and country.
• Usage data: including activity completion, selected language, and app interactions.
• Support interactions: when you contact us, we may collect your email and request details.

We do not collect passwords or payment card data. Subscription payments are processed via Apple.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal data is used for the following purposes:

• To authenticate and manage your account
• To enable key features and personalize your learning experience
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• To analyze usage trends to improve the App
• To send important notices or service-related announcements

We may also use anonymized and aggregated data for research or analytics.

• Directly from you when you create an account or contact us
• Automatically through the app (e.g., device and usage data)
• From third-party platforms (e.g., Apple) when authorized by you

7. Security Measures

We rely on Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, to implement industry-standard security measures including secure server infrastructure, encrypted data transmission, and access controls. While we rely on trusted third-party providers and follow best practices, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

LinguaLoop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware of such data collection, we will delete it.

9. International Users

Your data is processed and stored in secure data centers operated by our service providers, including Supabase, which may be located in jurisdictions outside of your country of residence. These locations may not have the same data protection laws as your home country. By using LinguaLoop, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. The date of the last update is posted at the top of this document.
